Chinese Ambassador visits 2022 Al Sila Marine Festival

Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, has visited Al Sila Marine Festival in its second edition, which is being held at Al Sila City Beach in Al Dhafra Region, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region.

The Chinese ambassador expressed his delight at visiting the festival and the warm welcome he received from the organisers, noting that it made him feel at home, as well as his happiness at being the first Chinese ambassador to visit Al Sila city.

I look forward to visiting Al Sila city again in the future, and I will be sure to not visit by myself, Ambassador Yiming said, urging Chinese citizens to visit Al Sila city. He also congratulated the organisers of Al Sila Marine Festival on its success.

The Chinese ambassador toured the festival’s pavilions and learnt about its various activities, including the marina exhibition and the marine, sports, heritage and folk competitions and activities, and performances.
