Dubai, UAE: Hotpack, the UAE-headquartered sustainable packaging leader, has been recognised for its role in the country’s industrial growth during the recently concluded Make it in the Emirates 2026 summit in Abu Dhabi.
As part of the honour, Hotpack was featured in the House of Industries showcase, where the summit highlighted the company’s contribution to the UAE’s manufacturing journey over the past 30 years.
Held under the UAE’s industrial strategy Operation 300Bn and organised by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), Make it in the Emirates serves as the country’s flagship platform for promoting local production, advanced manufacturing, innovation and industrial investment.
Hotpack has grown into one of the region’s largest manufacturers of food packaging and hygiene solutions, supporting the UAE’s food safety ecosystem while maintaining high standards in quality, sustainability and technology across its operations.
Today, the company operates 25 manufacturing facilities worldwide, including 13 across all seven emirates in the UAE, and has a presence in 17 countries, including the USA, UK, India, Australia, Malaysia and markets across the GCC. Its products are exported to 107 countries, alongside a strong e-commerce presence in the UAE.
Commenting on the recognition, Abdul Jebbar PB, Founder, Managing Director and Group CEO of Hotpack, said the honour was a proud moment for the company and a reflection of its three-decade journey in step with the UAE’s industrial progress.
He said Hotpack’s growth story began in the UAE in 1995 and has since developed into a globally recognised manufacturing brand shaped by the country’s values of ambition, resilience and innovation. He also praised UAE leadership for creating a business environment that encourages long-term investment and growth.
Zainudeen PB, Co-Founder, Group COO and Executive Director, said Hotpack’s journey has closely followed the UAE’s wider vision for a diversified, innovation-driven economy. He said the recognition goes beyond the company itself and reflects the strong industrial momentum built by the nation over the years.
He added that the company’s investments in sustainable manufacturing, recycling initiatives and advanced production are guided by a long-term commitment to the UAE’s vision.
Anvar PB, Group CTO and Executive Director, said Hotpack used the House of Industry platform to showcase its sustainability-focused products and recycled innovations. He noted that the company now offers more than 4,500 products across the HORECA, retail and industrial sectors, with nearly 96 per cent of its portfolio considered sustainable.
He added that the company’s presentation under the theme “Built in the UAE, Growing with the Nation” reflected its support for local production, sustainability initiatives and the circular economy.
The recognition at Make it in the Emirates 2026 further cements Hotpack’s position as one of the UAE’s leading homegrown industrial success stories, underscoring its role in building a stronger, more sustainable and globally competitive manufacturing sector.
