Dubai Airports and Salik will introduce e-wallet parking at DXB terminals, enabling automatic, cashless, and faster vehicle entry and exit.

Dubai has taken another major step toward smart mobility with Dubai Airports and Salik signing a strategic agreement to introduce e-wallet–based parking payments at Dubai International Airport.

Dubai Airports and Salik will introduce e-wallet parking at DXB terminals, enabling automatic, cashless, and faster vehicle entry and exit.

Under this initiative, parking across all terminals (T1, T2, and T3) at Dubai International Airport will become fully cashless and automated. Vehicles registered with Salik will be automatically identified upon entry and exit, and parking fees will be deducted directly from the Salik e-wallet—eliminating the need for cash, tickets, or manual payment kiosks.

The partnership brings together Dubai Airports, the operator of the world’s busiest international airport, and Salik, Dubai’s electronic toll and smart mobility solutions provider. The system is designed to significantly reduce congestion, speed up vehicle movement, and enhance the overall airport experience for travelers, visitors, and staff.

Officials noted that the new parking solution aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of becoming a global leader in digital infrastructure and smart city services. By integrating airport parking with Salik’s existing platform, the city aims to offer seamless, contactless travel solutions that prioritize efficiency and convenience.

The rollout will take place in phases, with further details on activation and timelines expected soon. Once fully implemented, the e-wallet parking system is set to redefine airport parking in Dubai, making journeys smoother from arrival to departure.
