Officials are also prioritising public comfort and accessibility. Comprehensive traffic management and transport plans have been introduced, including phased road closures around major celebration zones and extended public transport services. The Dubai Metro and Tram will operate continuously for 43 hours — a move aimed at facilitating travel for millions of people expected to attend the celebrations.

Authorities have stressed the importance of safety for all attendees, urging the public to follow guidelines, respect restricted areas near launch sites, and plan their routes in advance. Emergency services and support stations will be operational across celebration hotspots to assist visitors throughout the night.

The fireworks celebrations are expected to draw large crowds and once again position Dubai as a leading international destination for New Year’s Eve, delivering a dazzling and memorable start to 2026.
