Dubai Welcomes the World with Global Village Spirit: New Visa and Entry Stamp Initiative Marks Season 30
DUBAI, UAE – Dubai has launched a unique joint initiative, celebrating the emirate’s cultural openness and human diversity, that places the Global Village Season 30 logo on all visas and introduces a special entry stamp for arriving travelers. This symbolic move, a collaboration between the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) and Global Village, marks the 30th anniversary of the popular cultural and entertainment destination.
The announcement was made in the presence of key officials, including Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, and Zeina Dagher, Senior Vice President of Operations at Dubai Holding Entertainment – Global Village.
This initiative is set to greet millions of travelers arriving in Dubai, immediately introducing them to Global Village, a destination that brings together cultures from around the world and reflects the city’s core values of openness and tolerance. The move is also a testament to the spirit of institutional integration between government and private sector partners.
Free Entry for Stamped Passports
In an added incentive, the two entities announced that entry to Global Village will be free of charge for passport holders bearing the newly introduced Global Village Season 30 stamp.

This privilege is valid for a period of ten days from the opening date of October 15. To benefit from the one-time free entry, the Global Village stamp must be placed directly next to the holder’s official entry stamp.
Enhancing Dubai’s Global Status
The initiative aligns with GDRFA Dubai’s efforts to support national events and enhance visitor experiences from the moment they arrive. It directly supports the objectives of the Dubai 2033 Vision and its strategy to solidify Dubai’s status as a vibrant global hub that seamlessly integrates culture, innovation, and a high quality of life.
Global Village, attracting millions of visitors annually, stands as one of Dubai’s most prominent tourism landmarks. It offers a unique experience, uniting nations through its diverse pavilions, artistic performances, and entertainment experiences that celebrate cultural diversity in all its forms. The placement of its logo on official travel documents and entry stamps highlights Dubai’s commitment to showcasing its progressive identity and role as a bridge for civilizational exchange between nations.
