Health Festival 2025 Celebrates UAE Workers with Wellness, Unity, and Record-Breaking Tribute
Dubai, UAE – More than 5,000 people gathered at Al Quoz Ground on Sunday for Health Festival 2025, a vibrant celebration of wellness, unity, and community spirit. Organized by the Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) in collaboration with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) and SmartLife, the event was a heartfelt tribute to the UAE’s workforce—the unsung heroes behind the nation’s development.
Graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Colonel Omar Matar Khamees Al Muzaina, Acting Assistant Director General for the Labor Relations Sector, and Lieutenant Colonel Khaled Ismail Al Rahma, Head of the Labor Events Department, the festival also welcomed Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, among other senior officials.

With a mission to offer gratitude and care, the event featured free health screenings—covering blood pressure, glucose, BMI, eye, and oral checks—alongside a blood donation drive and health awareness sessions on nutrition, hygiene, mental health, and disease prevention.
Muhsin Al Banna, Chairperson of the Pakistan Medical Centre (PMC), emphasized the importance of accessible preventive healthcare, saying, “This event was about showing our workers that their health matters and their efforts don’t go unnoticed.”
The festival buzzed with energy through a public health walk, sports competitions like cricket, volleyball, tug of war, and arm wrestling, and cultural performances and a magic show, all designed to uplift and unite.

A standout moment was the ‘Hands of Unity’ initiative, where over 25,000 handprints formed the UAE flag in a Guinness World Record attempt, symbolizing the resilience and spirit of the workforce.
Zahid Hassan, General Secretary of PAD, highlighted the event’s deeper message: “Health Festival 2025 was a community-led tribute that reflects PAD’s values of unity, inclusion, and service.”

The event concluded with prize giveaways, including smartphones, e-scooters, vouchers, and event tickets, celebrating the attendees’ contributions and spirit.
PAD extended heartfelt thanks to the Government of Dubai, volunteers, and a wide range of partners and sponsorswho made the festival a resounding success.
