Good News for Marvel Fans as Simu Liu Visits Abu Dhabi This Summer

Marvel fans across the UAE and the wider region will get a rare opportunity to meet one of Hollywood’s most recognisable superheroes this summer, as Simu Liu, best known for his role as Shang-Chi, is set to appear in Abu Dhabi as part of a major pop-culture event.
The actor will be a special guest at the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC), which returns to the capital later this year, bringing together international film stars, comic creators, gamers and fans under one roof.
Where and when
The event will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) over a three-day weekend. Organisers have confirmed that Simu Liu will appear on select days of the convention, during which fans will be able to see him live and take part in exclusive meet-and-greet sessions.
MEFCC has grown into one of the Middle East’s largest entertainment conventions, attracting thousands of visitors each year and hosting stars from Hollywood, streaming platforms and the global comic-book industry.
Meet-and-greet opportunities
Fans hoping to meet the Marvel star can do so through official photo-op and autograph sessions, which are organised by the event. These sessions allow attendees to take professional photographs with the actor, receive signed memorabilia and enjoy brief personal interactions.
