Sharjah Crown Prince chairs Executive Council meeting

SHARJAH: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, on Tuesday chaired the Executive Council meeting at the office of the Ruler of Sharjah.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Vice Chairman of the Executive Council, was also present.

The meeting discussed a number of topics related to the progress of government work, plans to develop government services, and the implementation of different developmental and national projects and initiatives in Sharjah.

The council approved the second batch of those eligible for residential and investment land grants for 2023 in Sharjah, with a total of 2,500 beneficiaries.

The plots were distributed among Sharjah’s cities and regions, including 1,050 residential plots, and 1,450 investment ones, after fulfilling the conditions and with the approval of the second batch. As a result, the total number of plots granted for the two batches in 2023 reached 4,000.

The council reviewed the outputs of the municipal forum of heads of municipal councils and municipalities’ directors in Sharjah, which aims to strengthen the work of municipal councils and municipalities, enhancing cooperation to achieve strategic goals, providing an effective work environment, and identifying future projects.

The report included the best practices followed by the municipal councils and municipalities of Sharjah in various services to develop and unify them through all the emirate’s municipalities for easy and fast services using the latest technologies.
