Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi Visits the Government of Sharjah Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025
Dubai, UAE – Sheikh Dr Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, visited the Government of Sharjah Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 on Monday, where 20 government entities are highlighting the emirate’s cutting-edge digital journey under the theme “Powered by Tech, Driven by People.”
During the tour, Sheikh Dr Salem was briefed on a wide range of technology-driven projects and digital solutions that underline Sharjah’s commitment to enhancing government efficiency, sustainability, and quality of life through innovation.
The pavilion features four central ecosystems — Digital Experiences, Environmental Sustainability, Smart Cities, and Our Humanity — each demonstrating how artificial intelligence and data connectivity are being harnessed to deliver faster, smarter, and more inclusive public services.
Youth-driven innovation
The Chairman also attended the Sharjah Digital Hackathon, organised by the Sharjah Digital Department in collaboration with the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Science and Technology and the Sharjah Youth Council. The initiative seeks to strengthen Sharjah’s innovation ecosystem, empowering young talents and government professionals to design AI-powered solutions for urban development and public services.
Next-generation government platforms
Among the key highlights of the pavilion was the Digital Sharjah Assistant, an AI-powered, real-time conversational platform that allows users to access government information and complete select transactions through text and voice interaction.
Sheikh Dr Salem also reviewed the Aqari Platform, a unified real estate hub providing seamless access to property services, accurate data, and integrated insights to support decision-makers and enhance customer experience.
In addition, the Nabni Platform was showcased as a digital solution that connects Sharjah’s municipalities to streamline building and construction procedures — from permits and supervision to maintenance and demolition — with the support of artificial intelligence.
Another innovation presented was Empower Gov AI, a smart assistant designed for public sector employees. The tool connects multiple entities, automates inquiries, manages access permissions, and boosts workplace efficiency across government departments.
Reaffirming digital leadership
Through its participation at GITEX Global 2025, Sharjah reaffirmed its position as a regional and global model for digital governance, showcasing how technology and human-centred design can work together to build sustainable, future-ready communities.
Sheikh Dr Salem was accompanied by Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah Digital Department; Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, Director of the Municipal Affairs Department; along with senior officials and representatives from participating entities.
