Royal Rapchee Entertainment Launches Global OTT Platform with Focus on Family-Friendly Content

Dubai: India’s Royal Rapchee Entertainment unveiled its new Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming service, “Royal Rapchee,” today in Dubai, marking its ambitious entry into the digital entertainment space. Registered under “Royal Rapchee Visual Recorded Media Distribution LLC” in Dubai’s mainland and backed by its established Indian entity, Rapchee Originals Media Pvt Ltd, the platform aims to blend affordability with culturally resonant content while nurturing emerging talent.

Strategic Expansion Plans
The service will debut in the UAE and India, with phased expansions into South Asian markets (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka) and key Middle Eastern nations (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait) slated for late 2025. The platform’s launch follows a significant AED 50 million investment from UAE-based Royal Cut Investment, chaired by His Excellency Humaid Mohamed Ali Rashed Alkalbani, who was acknowledged for his pivotal support.

Subscription Tiers and Features
Royal Rapchee offers three pricing tiers:

  • Silver Plan: AED 5/month (basic access)
  • Gold Plan: AED 15/month (HD streaming, two devices)
  • Platinum Plan: AED 45/month (4K streaming, four devices, offline downloads)

Subscribers gain access to a library of movies, dramas, documentaries, and original series, enhanced by AI-driven personalized recommendations and high-speed streaming.

Focus on Talent and Cultural Values
At the launch event, Founder and Managing Director Dharam Gupta emphasized the platform’s dual mission: “Royal Rapchee isn’t just about entertainment; it’s a gateway for young creators to showcase their work globally. We’re committed to delivering world-class content that respects cultural values and remains accessible.” The service will prioritize family-friendly programming, avoiding sensitive themes, and plans to release 100 original songs by December 2025, offering opportunities for new artists.

Competitive Edge in a Crowded Market
With its affordable pricing, AI innovation, and emphasis on localized content, Royal Rapchee enters a competitive OTT landscape. Its success may hinge on leveraging partnerships and maintaining a sharp focus on its core markets’ cultural preferences. As streaming wars intensify, the platform’s pledge to spotlight fresh talent could carve a unique niche in the industry.
