Dubai Police and Abu Dhabi Police Strengthen Collaboration for Better Security

Brigadier Rashed Khalifa Al Falasi, Acting Director of the General Department of Organisations Protective Security and Emergency at Dubai Police, has received a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Police, to explore and enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise between the forces particularly in the area of events security.

Headed by Brigadier Khalfan Abdullah Al Mansouri, from the Strategic and Institutional Development Centre, the visiting delegation was briefed on the Dubai Police’s experience in securing events and activities held in the Emirate of Dubai. In addition, the delegation learned about the responsibilities of the Events Security Committee, its accomplishments, and the major events it has secured.

A detailed and comprehensive explanation was also provided on the process of securing an event, from the initial announcement to its successful conclusion, including the various procedures that precede the security operation, such as correspondence, coordination meetings, site visits, and the development of security plans.

At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the General Command of Dubai Police for their continuous commitment to enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences and expertise.
