TBCPL 10 Announces Inaugural T10 Tournament with Eight Franchises
Dubai: The Tennis Ball Cricket Premier League (TBCPL 10) has unveiled plans for its groundbreaking inaugural T10 tournament, scheduled from May 26 to June 5, 2025. Featuring eight franchise teams representing major Indian cities, this professional tennis ball cricket league aims to revolutionize the beloved street cricket format on a global stage. The tournament will be broadcast exclusively on Sony Sports Network, with the venue to be announced soon.
The eight teams—Mumbai Mavericks, Delhi Dynamos, Bangalore Blasters, Kolkata Kings, Chandigarh Champions, Hyderabad Hunters, Ahmedabad Avengers, and Chennai Challengers—will compete in a format comprising 31 league matches followed by four playoff games.
Nationwide Talent Search and Player Auction
To ensure broad representation and uncover the best talent, TBCPL 10 will conduct trials across 50 cities in India, covering the North, East, and Central zones. Selected players will enter the inaugural player auction, scheduled for May 5-6, 2025, where franchise teams will build their squads.
